Can you fly with the Collapsible crate?Updated 4 days ago

We frequently have customers fly with our Collapsible Crates, as they can be configured to meet common airline guidelines. Each crate includes rear and side airline rails, along with thumb screws that secure the front and rear panels with threaded metal nuts and bolts. Once assembled this way, the crate becomes fully stationary, as required by airline standards.

For added stability, we recommend using zip ties through the ventilation holes to further secure the airline rails. This isn’t due to any defect in the crate but because airline personnel sometimes attempt to lift crates by the rails instead of the designated handles on top.

That said, every airline has its own policies and requirements, which may vary and change over time. For this reason, we always encourage checking with your airline in advance to confirm that your crate will be accepted for travel.
